  1. Rachel, did you like the Flip diapers? Our internet filter blocks the video :(, but I'm assuming it's some sort of review or something of the diapers? I'm 31 weeks with our first, and have the Flip diapers on our registry. I'd love to hear any quick thoughts you have about them! (No need to write a book 🙂 )

    1. Yes and no! I found them to be challenging with a breastfed newborn because the poo would almost always get on the cover where it couldn't be wiped off. When he was breastfed exclusively I basically viewed my Flips as a one change diaper, if I got two changes out of the cover, then that was great.

      Here's a post I wrote about the Flip: <a href="http:// {http://frugalandsimple.com/2010/10/29/flip-diaper-system/}” target=”_blank”> <a href="http://{http://frugalandsimple.com/2010/10/29/flip-diaper-system/}” target=”_blank”>{http://frugalandsimple.com/2010/10/29/flip-diaper-system/}

      Here's another post I wrote after 1 month of cloth diapering, there's a bit about the Flip in it: <a href="http:// {http://frugalandsimple.com/2010/06/08/cloth-diaper-stash/}” target=”_blank”> <a href="http://{http://frugalandsimple.com/2010/06/08/cloth-diaper-stash/}” target=”_blank”>{http://frugalandsimple.com/2010/06/08/cloth-diaper-stash/}

      Now that he's older the Flip system/Econobum pre-folds are great, it's such an inexpensive way to diaper and creates less laundry than pocket diapers.

      Not to say that the Flip system won't work for your baby, I'd buy one or two covers/inserts but not buy a complete stash of them until you give them a try! Hope this helps! Please ask me any questions you may have, I'm more than happy to help!
