Cow Appreciation Day 2011

Of course you all know we’re frugal, this blog would not be frugal and simple if we weren’t! I’m sure it’s no surprise to you that our family celebrated Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-fil-A this past Friday!

Dress like a cow and get a free meal at Chick-fil-A? Sure, the Boreings will do it!!

The most fun part was dressing Paxton up like a cow and giving him a little tail!! I’m very excited that  we’ll have 2 babies to dress up next year!

We had a great little family outing and of course we enjoyed our free chicken {which would have cost us around $15!} Paxton even had a kids meal complete with lemonade!

Did you participate in Cow Appreciation Day?

  1. Y'all are too cute! Why not dress up funny for a free meal? Looks like fun.

Actually, my first thought was, Rachel cut her hair! Bet it feels good in this weather.

    1. It was worth it! I was slightly embarrassed when we did it last year for the first time but this year it was fun!! And yes, the hair cut is wonderful…it's easier to maintain and much cooler!!

  2. Thanks, Rachel. These are great pics. I work for a small bioremediation company that makes a device for cleaning up the waste produced by dairy farms. At one point, my coworkers cut out some black car magnet material to put on our boss' white vehicle. Made it look like a milking cow on wheels. They're all parents and will love these pics 😉
