Organizing the Garage

Since we moved in our condo, the garage has been the messy zone of our house. We had intentions of using the garage to park our vehicle since we have a baby and it makes sense to use your garage to park in but we never got around to cleaning it out.

It seems that when you have a messy space it’s easier to just let it get messier and that’s what we’ve been doing all winter! Today I decided enough was enough, it was time to clean it up!

I put Paxton in his stroller since it’s almost impossible to clean with a 10-month-old, gave him a toy and a cup of water and worked as fast as I could!

Oh goodness, the mess!

It actually looks clean and orderly!

I spent 45 minutes sweeping, sorting, throwing out trash and tidying. I wish I would have done this much sooner!

Here’s another view. It still is a lot of stuff but everything on the left up to the mirror is yard sale and donate stuff. And on the right up to the power tools are our recyclables. I am telling myself it’s not all that cluttered!

And this is how I feel about our newly organized garage! {I adore Paxton’s new smile with squinty eyes!}

  1. Rachel, your little guy is getting so big! Can't believe he'll be a year old next month. My grandson just turned two in January – time is flying! Love Paxton's smile and those two shiny new teeth!

    Blessings to you and your family.

    1. Yes, he is so big. He's really not a baby anymore and he's almost walking! Time really seems to be flying by these days but watching him grow sure is fun!
