Buffalo Chicken Dip

We love buffalo chicken dip!

1 pound chicken breasts, boiled & finely shredded

1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce

8 ounces cream cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella

1. Toss chicken with wing sauce. Marinate for 30 minutes.

2. Spread cream cheese in bottom of small baking dish (12-inch cast iron, 8×8 baking dish). Spread chicken on top of cream cheese, then cheese on top.

3. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes or until bubbly.

4. Serve with tortilla chips.

Buffalo chicken dip is great for watching football, movie night and parties!

*Use chicken legs or thighs to boil, shred & marinate instead of chicken breasts to save money!

  1. We use ranch dressing and cheddar cheese… But oh, my! I bet blue cheese dressing is amazing!! 🙂
    I love this too. It's so good… I could eat it as a meal…. (Shhh. I didn't say that… :))

  2. This is our favorite dip!!!!! I can't even remember where I got it (from a friend at a party but not sure who!) but I get asked for the recipe every time I make it for someone. I add 1/4 cup of hot sauce to the cream cheese, leave out the butter and use real bleu cheese instead of the dressing. Sooooo good!!

  3. I am going to make this. I was going to boil a chicken today. Got it on sale at food lion last night. Sounds delicious. I will probably use ranch dressing instead of blue cheese though.

  4. thanks!! I have a bottle of wing sauce in the fridge I couldn't figure out what to do with and just didnt want plain buffalo chicken AGAIN.

  5. Your recipe looks great! Where can I find a smaller cast iron pan without a handle? Also, what do you use as dippers for this?

    1. It is really good! My pan actually has a handle on it (I know the picture looks like it doesn't!) Maybe try Amazon, I'm sure there is one out there somewhere!! I just use a spoon to dip it out and sometimes we just eat the dip out of the pan! 🙂
