Peanut Butter Cookies

These are the easiest cookies you’ll ever make and they are delicious! I’ve been baking them since I was a little girl and they are still one of my favorite cookies to make (and eat!)

1 cup peanut butter

1 cup sugar

1 egg

Mix all ingredients. Shape into small balls, place onto ungreased baking sheet. Press fork onto cookies for a lattice look (optional). Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes or until cookies are browned! Enjoy!

  1. Thanks for the recipe–I’ve been making them now and then since you had them on the podcast. My mother-in-law especially loves them because she can’t eat gluten and was ecstatic when I shared them with her!

  2. Wow! You cant get much simpler than that!!! I cant wait to try it. I love PB cookies, but havent ever made them! I may have to give these a go tonight. What temp do you bake these at?

  3. I haven’t tried this recipe. What I like about it is that it has only three ingredients – you can’t beat that!

    1. They aren’t hard at all but they’re incredibly soft & chewy either…they really are like a normal peanut butter cookie!

    1. No flour at all! When they’re baked you can’t tell, they are a lot like a “normal” peanut butter cookie!! 🙂

  4. Ok. I finally made this recipe, and it was just a pan full of peanut butter. Not like cookies at all. What did I do wrong? I used the three ingredients you listed. 1 egg, 1 C PB, 1 C sugar. It was so runny, I wasnt able to put them into balls.

    1. Meg,

I have no clue what the issue could be…maybe your egg was really big and "wet" or maybe it was just the weather (I firmly believe the weather effects my baking)! I have made these cookies so many times and never had a problem with runny batter! If it happens again, maybe add extra sugar to the dough.
