Chicken and Potato Bake

Chicken and Potato Bake is a really easy and delicious meal!

Ingredients:

Chicken breast

Potatoes

Onions

Carrots

Chop all ingredients. Put chicken, potatoes, onions, and carrots in a casserole dish with cut up chunks of butter, sprinkle with salt and pepper, cover with foil and bake approximately 1 hour or until potatoes are soft and chicken is done! (I baked mine in an 8×8 casserole).

I never follow a recipe for this meal, just put in ingredients! (I typically include carrots but we didn’t have any so I made do…that’s why they’re not pictured!)

This is definitely a family favorite because it tastes so good and is so easy to make!

  3. Ok, honestly, all morning I have been trying to figure out what I could make for dinner without going to the store. I am glad I stopped by. I have all of these ingredients. I think I will try it out tonight. I am working on being more frugal. Or, really, I am just thinking and thinking about it and planning on working on it. My main problem is our grocery bill.
Again, I am glad I stopped by.

But oh well, I am making this tonight! I am so happy to find a quick one dish meal with veggies included that is not really a casserole! Genius! Thanks!

  5. Just put the dish (complete with carrots) in the oven. (I’m on Pacific time) Can’t wait to see if everyone likes it. Also, I am SO happy I didn’t have to run to the store today.

  6. Love the recipe! I think I’ll try it with a little olive oil instead of butter. Gotta love cheap and simple recipes like this! Thanks!
