Chicken and Potato Bake is a really easy and delicious meal!
Ingredients:
Chicken breast
Potatoes
Onions
Carrots
Chop all ingredients. Put chicken, potatoes, onions, and carrots in a casserole dish with cut up chunks of butter, sprinkle with salt and pepper, cover with foil and bake approximately 1 hour or until potatoes are soft and chicken is done! (I baked mine in an 8×8 casserole).
I never follow a recipe for this meal, just put in ingredients! (I typically include carrots but we didn’t have any so I made do…that’s why they’re not pictured!)
This is definitely a family favorite because it tastes so good and is so easy to make!
Oh my… chicken and potatoes are a favorite combination of mine.
This looks so yummy! I will be trying this soon!
Sounds simple and delish! I’ll have to remember it next time I don’t know what to make because I almost always have everything listed. Thanks!
Love love love simple and delicious recipes. This looks like a good one! 🙂
Mmm that looks delicious and easy- a great combo!
Yum – this looks great! My cooking style tends to be similar. Plus, I love simple meals with just a few ingredients. So hearty and satisfying! Thanks for posting this one! 🙂
This looks super easy and sounds tasty, I have chicken defrosted in the fridge, but alas no potatoes :-/ Will have to try this later, I like the sound of it:)
That looks so yummy and easy. I wonder if it would be just as good without the butter?
I came over from Tasty Tuesday and the first thing I saw was this easy and delicious recipe. You made a fan already.
Ok, honestly, all morning I have been trying to figure out what I could make for dinner without going to the store. I am glad I stopped by. I have all of these ingredients. I think I will try it out tonight. I am working on being more frugal. Or, really, I am just thinking and thinking about it and planning on working on it. My main problem is our grocery bill.
Again, I am glad I stopped by.
Tasty Tuesday: Monster Cookies
How simple and delicious! I’m glad I found your blog through Tasty Tuesday!
I found this through on of the linky parties… ccan’t remember which one.
But oh well, I am making this tonight! I am so happy to find a quick one dish meal with veggies included that is not really a casserole! Genius! Thanks!
Just put the dish (complete with carrots) in the oven. (I’m on Pacific time) Can’t wait to see if everyone likes it. Also, I am SO happy I didn’t have to run to the store today.
Simple and satisfying – a win/win in my book!
Love the recipe! I think I’ll try it with a little olive oil instead of butter. Gotta love cheap and simple recipes like this! Thanks!
