These are a few of the blog posts I read this week that were inspiring, helpful, and encouraging to me!

  • Building a Home Planning Notebook Lindsay at Passionate Homemaking shares her home planning notebook! She even posted a vlog and walked through it section by section! Now, I just need to take the time to get my notebook organized using some of her tips and suggestions!
  • Somebody Wants What You Have This post from Amy at The Finer Things in Life discusses being thankful for what we have! It was so encouraging to me this week when I allowed my emotions think a little too much about our tight budget! I really have nothing to complain about…I have a warm home, food in my belly not to mention an amazing husband, baby on the way and the most wonderful gift ever, salvation!!
  • Can’t do it all, and that’s okay This was something I needed to read! Mary Jo at Covenant Homemaking writes about not worrying about some of the little things and cherishing time with your little ones! Since my little one is arriving in less than 6 weeks I am telling myself over and over that a slightly messy home and less than gourmet meals are okay…I just need to cherish time with my newborn!
  • Why I am a Teacher Amy Lynne at Mom’s Balance shares this inspirational story about a little girl at her school! There are so many wonderful school teachers who are daily impacting lives of children!
  • Pepperoni Calzones My mouth watered when I saw this recipe and the pictures from Erin at $5 Dinners! They look so simple and delicious…I’m trying them very soon!

Thank you for some great reading!

  2. Thanks for linking, Rachel. I wrote that post as a “note to self” when I tend to “overthink” things, and I’m thrilled that so many people have been blessed by it.
