Skin MD Natural & Giveaway

{This giveaway is now closed! The winner is commenter number 10, Tina!}

Winter is so rough on my hands! Between the dry air, washing dishes, and repeatedly washing hands (I don’t want to get sick) my hands get very dry! In fact, if I don’t keep them moisturized, the skin over my knuckles cracks and sometimes bleeds!

I need a lotion that keeps my hands feeling moisturized and that’s doesn’t have a strong fragrance (heavily scented lotions give me a headache!)

Enter Skin MD™ Natural Shielding Lotion. This lotion “uses only the finest natural ingredients, and is focused on urging the skin to be active, and to use its own moisture to effectively heal itself.”

When a representative from 21st Century Formulations contacted me about Skin MD™ Natural, I was very excited about trying out the product, in hopes that it would be the solution to my constantly dry hands!

I was not disappointed with the lotion at all! After one application my hands felt wonderful, the lotion does not leave any greasy feeling residue and makes my hands simply feel moisturized!

What’s even better about Skin MD™ Natural is it can be used on your face as well which was exciting to me because I deal with dry facial skin all winter too! It feels wonderful as a facial moisturizer.

Skin MD™ Natural comes in a 4 ounce bottle and retails for $18. The 4 ounces is a 1 to 2 month supply with daily use since you only need a small amount of the lotion to adequately moisturize.

21st Century Formulations has agreed to give one reader a 4 ounce bottle of Skin MD™.

  3. Rachel, my skin is always dry, especially in the winter. I use 100% natural shea butter on my feet up to my ankles, hands and lips and it makes a huge difference in cracked skin.

  4. my hands get super dry and cracked in winter. with 3 kids and 4 dogs it seems there is endless handwashing for me!

  5. My children both have eczema and I am always looking for something to help relieve their skin. They usually have to use prescription medicine on outbreaks, but I am always looking for alternatives. I have found that since we do not have gas heat, their skin seems better. I am going to look this up.

  6. I would loves this for my dry chapped hands in the winter and my husband can’t the lotions with fragrance so i would love to try this product out. thank!

  7. I get horribly dry hands in the winter. It is exaserbated by having to constantly wash my hands – both as a nurse and new mom! Would love to try something new as everything else I have tried has only helped a little.

  8. I have such dry skin in the winter. All year round really, but it’s the worst during these dry months. My knuckles bleed if I forgot to use lotion or if I’m doing a lot of cleaning that day. I’d love to try this on my face as well because I ALWAYS have flaky skin on my face, it drives me nuts. My face is also very sensitive, I have yet to try a lotion that won’t leave it red and blotchy.

  9. I wash my hands literally 100’s of times a day as a nurse, and most lotions/creams burn my sinuses and give me a headache. Also, my son has eczema that we just can’t get under control. Would absolutely love to try this product.
