February 8-13 Meal Plan


This past week I went back to grocery store for the first time after the pantry challenge! Getting back on my regular grocery budget ($160/month) is so much more than my pantry challenge budget ($50)…I felt like I had so much money!! I ended up spending right at $100 this week but I have plenty of groceries to definitely last 2 more weeks so I am right on track with my budget! (I even stocked up on sugar, oil, spaghetti sauce & apple juice!) I also purchased a 5 quart container of ice-cream and cheese puffs for my husband since he was so wonderful during the pantry challenge!

So, here’s what’s on the menu at our home this week:

Breakfasts:

Muffins

Country Ham & Cheese Biscuits

Grapes

Apples


Lunches:

Leftovers


Dinners:

Monday: Red Beans and Rice

Tuesday: Zuppa Tuscana Soup

Wednesday & Thursday: Vegetable Soup (big pot!)

Friday: Fried Chicken Legs with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy

Saturday: Sausage Pizza
