After months of thought, I have decided to rename my blog Frugal and Simple Living.

Frugal and Simple Living is a combination of my main blog, The Simple Life of the Boreings, and my Life: Frugal and Simple blog (that was created for my videos). The themes of living frugally and simply were prominent on both blogs and I wanted to combine them together.

When I originally started blogging on The Simple Life of the Boreings, I blogged primarily about the activities of our life, my crafting, and occasionally cooking. Over the past 2 years I’ve blogged less about just what we do in our everyday life and more about our lifestyle choices, ways we save money, budgeting, and cooking. Frugal and Simple Living will continue to share glimpses into our life and you’ll occasionally be bombarded with a post about our birthdays or visiting our family but for the most part I’ll be sharing frugal and simple living tips!

The Life: Frugal and Simple blog began as site for my podcast, Life: Frugal and Simple. I have moved all of those videos to Frugal and Simple Living and we have plans to begin filming more in the coming weeks which we’re excited about! You will also notice the site redesign! My wonderful husband, John David, worked hard on the redesign and I personally think it turned out fabulous!

The new address for the blog is frugalandsimple.com! (blog.boreingfamily.com will redirect for the time being.)
