Today I am 18 weeks pregnant! This week my belly is definitely obvious…I actually was quite shocked to see the photo and how much I’m growing. I am wearing comfy maternity jeans in this picture and one of my favorite fall tops…that I don’t think I’ll be able to wear in 2 weeks!

I believe I’m feeling the baby moving! I haven’t felt any very obvious kicking but there has been quite  a bit of unusual sensations in my belly which I’m positive are the baby! It’s so exciting! John David and I both are still somewhat in shock thinking that there is a tiny little person growing inside of me! It’s somewhat surreal and definitely a tiny miracle! We are very anxious to begin feeling this little on moving around more (especially daddy…I think he’s a little jealous that I can feel the baby now and he can’t!)

I feel great! I still don’t feel very pregnant since my belly is still pretty small! I do believe I am beginning the nesting phase, I’ve been getting things marked off the to-do list all this week and have big plans to get more things knocked out in the coming weeks! I have noticed that I’m tired much earlier (I am ready for bed around 8 but I stay up a little later to spend time with John David) and then he has to drag me out of bed in the mornings! He doesn’t take my “I’m growing a person, I need my rest,” explanation ever, but  getting me up early is helping me to be productive!!

I now have 2 maternity bands (in white & black) that have been helpful in making my pre-pregnancy clothes still fit! These bands are an example of God’s provision too! When I posted about maternity clothes and asked for advice regarding what I needed, Kelly and Melanie suggested belly bands. I decided I was going to purchase one and the next day I won a $50 gift card to Amon Maternity from Workout Mommy Reviews! God is so good to us and takes care of our every need!!

It’s hard to believe that in just 2 weeks we will be at the halfway point and in less than 3 weeks we will know if we’re having a boy or a girl! So much excitement!!
