1. Save 3 months living expenses by December 31. We were able to contribute $85 to this in April! Not much money but every little bit helps!
2. Pay $3,000 towards our “small loan”. Since we have reached this goal already we are currently saving the money we would use for this for refinancing costs. After we finish with the refinancing we will continue on to completely wipe out this loan hopefully by the end of the year!!
3. Make an extra principal payment every month. We have been following the Dave Ramsey baby steps & focusing on debt now. However, we are in the process of refinancing at a lower rate with a bi-weekly payment plan so that will save us money in the long run!
4. Keep all Miscellaneous spending (Medicine, Toiletries, Clothing, Gifts, everything but food) under $100 a month. We have only spent $53.94! (Items purchased were a jacket & book at Goodwill, vaccum bags, clothespins, jar lids, undershirts, and new book!)
5. Sell $500 worth of stuff from around our home by July 31.We didn’t sell anything this month. July 31 is quickly approaching and we have to sell $272.22 to meet this goal so it’s not looking like we will but we will continue to try!
