  1. How interesting! Do you know how many apples it took to do all those jars? Do the jars seal themselves as they cool?

  2. “14 bushels of apples are used each year. The apples are quartered on Thursday before Apple Butter day on Saturday. On Friday they are cooked and run through a sieve to remove the peelings and seeds. The apple sauce is stored in 5 gallon buckets and as you see in the video is then placed in the pots on Saturday morning. Yes, the jars do seal themselves.”
